The El Monte Police Officers Foundation is a non-profit organization that works with the El Monte Police Department

To support department operations and enhance public safety
To encourage and strengthen relationships between the community and the police department
To promote officer safety and wellness
To recognize heroism, valor and outstanding achievements of both the police department and the community

Honoring Our Fallen

Minimizing the financial burdens often placed on the dedicated members of the El Monte Police Department who experience catastrophic circumstances, including assisting the families of officers killed in the line of duty.

We have provided over $100,000 in grants to the families of our fallen officers.

Youth and TORCH Program

The EMPOF understands that many of our officers grow up here and join the department. Therefore, we have created a fund that allows high school youth to learn about police work first hand.

The El Monte police Department is dedicated to at risk youth intervention. Our TORCH program (Teaching, Obedience, Respect, Courage and Honor).
